Ma dyplomy Boston College, The School of Visual Arts i New York University/International Center of Photography. Ukończyła również indywidualny tok studiów nowojorskiego Whitney Museum.
Wykłada w wielu instytucjach o światowej renomie, m.in.: Museum of Modern Art, Guggenheim Museum, Lafayette College i Maine Photographic Workshops.
Jej prace znajdują się w wielu kolekcjach, min. w Zendai Museum of Modern Art w Szanghaju, Museum of Fine Arts w Houston, Maine Media Workshops, Allentown Art Museum w Pennsylwanii.
