Francuski malarz, artysta uliczny, plakacista i performer. Urodził się w 1960 roku w Coutances w Normandii (Francja). Od 1976 r. Do 1979 r. studiował w szkole artystycznej „La Poulinière” w Saint-Lô, a następnie w Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Cherbourgu.

Swą artystyczną drogę rozpoczął od początku lat 80-tych w duchu Figuration Libre. Kiedy pojawia się w Paryżu, angażuje się w działalność twórczą na wielu ówczesnych squatach CAES, Boinod, Garage 53... współpracuje z Zen Copyright. 1985 roku uczestniczy w spotkaniu, które organizuje VLP (Vive La Peinture), które można traktować jako zaczyn francuskiej sceny street artowej.  Po tych doświadczeniach głównym terenem działań SP38 staje się ulica. W 1995 roku przenosi się do Berlina, gdzie ówczesna ulica kipiała od działań street artowych. Angażuje się w niezależną scenę artystyczną Berlina współpracując z  Tacheles, Acud, Prora in Rügen, Blühende Landschaften Gallery, Stattbad. Ulice Berlina, szczególnie Kreuzbergu uzbraja plakatami z ironicznymi stwierdzeniami, takimi jak „Vive la bourgeoisie”, „Vive la crise”.
