The White Power series consists of portraits of people with albinism, who - as Bedyńska says - attract attention for their "unusual nature, beauty and uniqueness". When placed in front of a camera, they tend to redefine the notion of beauty, which - if seen traditionally - eliminates them from the ranks of the nice and beautiful. Bedyńska does an about-turn, bringing out their unusual and unique charm, which is often not only attributable to their looks. They are white and one of a kind, just like white ravens.
The photo won a number of awards in prestigious competitions (2013), including: World Press Photo, Grand Press Photo, BZWBK Press Photo.
Exhibitions of the series (2013), i.a.: the Apteka Sztuki Gallery, Warsaw; Inspiracje Festival, Szczecin; Photofestival, Guizhou (China), and Photolux Festival (Italy).
