Even though Milach’s central focus is on his own, independent projects, he also accepts commercial assignments. In making his portraits of well known personalities, he has developed an individual style, and frequently reaches for the technique of photographic collage. This work was created for the Malemen magazine to illustrate an interview with Wojciech Mann (b. 1948), one of the most famous and celebrated Polish music journalists. Known both from the radio and television, Mann is a presenter, host, master of ceremonies, but also an author of texts, a voice actor, and a teacher. He has won many awards for his broad-ranging activity.
The work was reproduced in Malemen (Issue 7[53] July/August, 2015). The cover of the issue featured another portrait of Wojciech Mann made by Rafał Milach.
