Władysław Hasior (1928-99) was one of the most distinguished contemporary Polish artists. He designed a number of provocative and unconventional outdoor monuments and sculptures in Poland and abroad. Andrzej B. Górski was Hasior`s collaborator and friend for many years and made this portrait at the beginning of their acquaintance. In 1982, Górski presented photograms entitled Interpretations, which consisted of eight portraits of Władysław Hasior.
