VI from the Lonesome Landscape series

2009/2012
pigment print, HARMAN by Hahnemühle Gloss Art Fibre 300 g,
50 x 50 cm,
signature, date and description on the reverse,
edition: 1/5 + 1a.p. (this format)

The Lonesome Landscape series consists of 31 shots captured on analogue materials using the long exposure method. The exposure time of each shot was between several minutes to an hour. The resulting images depict a world rid of any dispensable or ephemeral details, while their minimalist form causes the time- and light-painted scenery to look strange as if it comes from a "world" beyond the reach of our senses.
The work has been shown at the following exhibitions: ZPAF Photographic Gallery, BWA, Kielce (2009), UMCS Museum, Lublin (2012), Stara Galeria ZPAF, Warsaw (2012).
