Portrait of the Morskie Oko cabaret star Vera Bobrowska. Morskie Oko was one the most famous revue theatres in pre-war Warsaw. Formerly named the Perskie Oko, it remained popular until 1933 thanks to its hits. Countless songs with lyrics by Andrzej Włast, the art director of Morskie Oko, were sung by such celebrities as: Stanisława Nowicka, Tola Mankiewiczówna, Zofia Terne, Tadeusz Olsza, Kazimierz Krukowski, Ludwik Sempoliński and Vera Bobrowska.
