In 2013, the artist survived a serious car accident. She was close to death. That misfortune brought about a series of others - operations, months of physical constraints, a break-up, the return and aggravation of anxiety neurosis. Post is a project about the trauma suffered by the artist, but as Zgierska herself explains, "everyone can find their own punctures here - exhausting dreams, fears, obsessions."
The series has won many awards and has been widely exhibited at group and solo shows: Malmö Fotobiennal, Sweden (2015); Festival Circulation(s), Paris, France (2016); FotoLeggendo Festival, Rome, Italy (2016); Athens Photo Festival, Greece (2016); within the framework of Prix HSBC pour la Photographie: Galerie Sintitulo, Mougins, France (2016); Musée de la photographie André Villers, Mougins, France (2016); Galerie Esther Woerdehoff, Paris, France (2016).
