The work is one of the best recognisable photographs in the artist`s oeuvre. My America, a project Zawadzki has been working on since 1997, shows the urban landscape of Jelenia Góra and post-industrial areas of Wałbrzych.
The photograph presented here has been shown in galleries across Poland, e.g. during the 1st Biennial of Polish Photography in Poznań (1998) and at My America shows, e.g. in: pf Gallery, Poznań (2002); BWA Gallery, Jelenia Góra (2003); Pusta Gallery, Katowice (2006).
