Keen on photographing mountain scenery, the artist often focused his attention on nature details. He was highly experienced in taking pictures at high altitudes and had a reputation of a specialist in the area. This is evidenced not only by his photographs, widely reproduced and exhibited, but also his manuals for photo amateurs: Photography for Skiers (Księgarnia Wł. Wilak, 1938) and Photography in the Mountains (Księgarnia Wł. Wilak, 1938).
