In addition to documentary photography, Rydet dedicated much of his work to landscape motifs. In his youth, he made a number of documentary photographs of the eastern Carpathians and the Hutsul Land. Later, he turned his attention to the town of Rabka, where he lived and worked till the end of his life. His landscape photographs were appreciated at international photography salons.
