The artist had an extraordinary skill in capturing the character of the places he photographed. The work featured here depicts fishing boats in the port of Gdynia, which he photographed in the 1930s. The pictures the artist took in those years were reproduced until 1939 in a series of popular guidebooks to the regions of Poland by Mieczysław Orłowicz.
