A doll is a frequently recurrent motif in Piasecki’s works. Yet, the way the artist presents dolls contradicts the popular idea of the toy. His images are dark and have a surreal air about them. Piasecki often used the shapes of dolls and combined them with other objects, creating original heliographs. This work is an example of such action.
The series has been widely exhibited.
