This photograph was made with the isohelia technique, which Błochowicz specialised in and which is a means of achieving a graphic-like effect in a photographic image. The artist was keen on photographing landscape scenery - both in urban and industrial areas, focusing on architectural motifs and mountain views, as in this picture. The Tatra photographs are among his best-known artworks.
