A painter, photographer, drawer, performer and creator of installations. Studied at the Maria-Curie Sklodowska University in Lublin and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Teacher at the Institute of Plastic Education at Maria-Curie Sklodowska University since 1979. The artist focuses on analysis of the material being used and on investigating issues related to place, plane and space. He is the author of so-called real images - reliefs impressed in paint-covered canvases. The paintwork beauty of raw material is also perceivable in his photographic works, presenting isolated fragments of reality, for example, parts of a wall, concrete floor or crumbling plaster.
