The work is one of the best recognisable photographs by the artist. Andrzejewska, who lives and works in Jelenia Góra, has been always interested in mountainous scenery, being particularly fond of the Karkonosze. Using a 4x5" large format camera, she creates images invoking the pictorialist tradition of Polish landscape photography.
The photograph has been exhibited in Poland and abroad.
