This work is illustrative of the artistic experiments Wardak was dedicated to, whereby he added power to the intended effect by using photomontage. The photograph was on display at the show Zero-61 Student Art Group: Art Photography Exhibition to Commemorate the 5th Anniversary of its Activity staged in a heap of sand in the courtyard of the Collegium Maius in Toruń. The way the exhibition was arranged was part of the artistic expression of the group, who were highlighting the object-like nature of the photographs themselves.
The work has been widely exhibited and reproduced, for example in Lech Lechowicz’s Zero-61 Group (1961-1969) book, which was published in 2016 by the Film School in Łódź and the Museum of Art in Łódź. The author of the book refers to it in the chapter Photography and Object as an important example of how the "Zero groupers" explored the link between image and reality.
