Photographic artist. He studied at the Škole Vytvarnej Fotografie in Brno during the years 1972-74 (diploma in 1974). He began his activity in the field of photography in the 70s, starting from metaphoric photography, but with conceptual influences. In the second half of the 90s, he created photo-objects. In 1995, he began work on his HOMMAGE A... series, dedicated to remarkable artists of the 20th century. At the end of the 90s, the artist reached for photographic documentary, and his endeavours in this regard are summarized in the book WHITE-RED-BLACK (1999), which describes the Poland of the 90s. Since the beginning of the 21st century, he has combined colour photography with the concept of photographic documentary.
