The work comes from the series Rodeo Girls, which consists of portraits of Texan girls taking part in rodeos. The artist focuses on their commitment to an activity that tends to be associated with men. Girls adopt male attitudes and behaviours, as well as the style of dressing. Compared to them, even the animals seem to be more womanly.
