Kacper Kowalski
He graduated with a degree in architecture from the Gdansk University of Technology. He specializes in aerial photography. Using a unique perspective and the control over an image he holds while simultaneously being a photographer and a pilot, he shows natural prospects and sea landscapes that are not available every day. This is how unreal, almost graphic photographs are created - the images which show patterns, symmetries and asymmetries created by man and nature. Kowalski is the recipient of numerous awards and prizes in the most important Polish and international photographic competitions: World Press Photo (2009, 2014 i 2015), Picture of The Year International - POYi (2012, 2014, 2015), Grand Press Photo (9 times), and many more. He lives and works in Gdynia.
Additional Charge Details:
- In addition to the hammer price, the successful bidder agrees to pay us a buyer's premium on the hammer price of each lot sold. On all lots we charge 18 %.
- To this lot we apply 'artist's resale right' ('droit de suite') fee. Royalties are calculated using a sliding scale of percentages of the hammer price.
