Obsessions are part of The World of Feelings and Imagination - an extensive portfolio of Rydet’s photomontages from the 1970s, which consists of fifteen sets of works characterised by various moods and emotional overtones. It shows humans in the context of a permanent threat - from birth till death. The Sociological Record and The World of Feelings and Imagination are the two greatest and most highly regarded portfolios in Rydet’s rich output.
