The Silesia series was made in 1978-1992 in Upper Silesia, showing the industrial scenery of worker`s housing estates and their residents during the final years of Communism in Poland.
The series won a gold medal and honorary mention at Spotkania z Fotografią, Jastrzębie Zdrój (1978).
Exhibitions: Silesia, Katowice (1984), Warsaw, Cracow (1986); Behind Walls - Eastern Europe before 1989, International Photofestival Noorderlicht, Leeuwarden, The Netherlands (2008).
