Graduate and lecturer at the Gdansk’s Academy of Fine Arts. He works with photography and videos. He systematically documents Polish reality (‘Reality’, 2007; ‘Prostitutes’, 2010). From 2000 to 2013 he photographed the shipyard in Gdansk - his famous project entitled ‘Shipyard’ consists of photographs documenting the last years of the shipyard prior to its tearing down. The project has been shows at several dozens expositions in the world, and in 2016 it was added to the photographic collection of Pompidou Centre in Paris. He has been working with press for many years, including Malemen, Przekroj, Newsweek Polska, Twoj Styl, or Viva!.
