Anima is Hueckel`s personal narrative about Travelling. The images show reality from the perspective of a Newcomer, who is seeking universal truths about life, death, rebirth, and transformation by exploring the strange and puzzling world of Africa. Scenes of emptiness and abandoned, forgotten and ruined places intertwine with pictures of organic structures, rotting parts of animals and sacral objects.
