Pawel Pierscinski was the founder of the Kielce School of Landscape which preferred a broad and simple look at nature, an analysis of its structure created by farmers. He graduated from the Warsaw University of Technology (1962). He was a member of the Association of Polish Art Photographers since 1964. He debuted during an artistic exhibition in Czestochowa, in 1955. He initiated, co-organized, and managed the Kielce Branch of the Association of Polish Art Photographers (1975), as well as founded and created the Swietokrzyskie Branch of that association (1978). After 50 years of creative work, in 2004, Pierscinski decided to burn his 262 exposed negatives in a home coal oven, as no-one was interested in taking over his archive. He did not want the negatives to be thrown away after his death.
