Warpechowski remembers the circumstances of creating this work as a situation in which the performer purposefully used photography to record a certain process: "I found a spot atop an artificially made hill of debris and rubbish. I was making different gestures there - kneeling, jumping with my hands up. I chose a single frame from the entire film and blew it up to a 100 × 70 cm print. It was rather lousy in quality terms, with light fogging and scratches. I sent it to an exhibition in Lyon. Later, they sent me a newspaper review in which my work was mentioned next to Niki de Saint-Phalle and Tinguely (Le Progres, 20.04.1975)."
