Very often, the actions of the Łódź Kaliska group take the form of a performance, even if the ultimate effect is photography as such. The poster is an invitation to an action organised by the artists shortly after the group came into being. During the City 1980 Youth Plein Air Workshop the artists invited the workshop participants to pose for a group photo - one you usually take on such occasions. They set the camera to long exposure, as a result of which some people got bored and left, some moved, and only those who waited patiently remained sharp.
