A Polish photographic artist and co-founder of the Association of Polish Art Photographers. He made his debut in 1928 at the first International Salon of Art Photography in Warsaw. One year later, he opened the Art Photography Studio, the most popular portrait studio in the capital, visited by many remarkable personalities of the time. This series of his photographs, presenting the pre-war life of Kazimierz on the Vistula river, is considered to be the first Polish photo-reportage.
