Wański`s works express the artist`s appreciation of the beauty of the surrounding world. Remaining faithful to the more classical approach to photography, he explained: "There is so much beauty in the surrounding nature that I find it hard to understand how one can seek satisfaction in reproducing banal things - however perfectly photographed - how one can strive feverishly and at any cost to discover ever newer pseudo-original methods and announce triumphantly that any previous accomplishments are relics." (Fotograf Polski, after Ignacy Płażewski`s A Look into the Past of Polish Photography, PIW, 1982).
