The central theme of the artist`s work was nude, which served as a means of commenting on morality rather than showing the beauty of a female body. The work comes from the Partitions series, which is considered to be conceptually the best set of Morawski`s works. The nudes were photographed in typical apartments; the women often covered their faces, while their bodies were shown as if disfigured. Morawski`s aim was to provoke and expose moral stereotypes.
