Rolke is considered a classic of Polish humanist photography, which is proven by this photograph. It was made in 1965 during one if his first stays in Paris, a city considered to be a Mecca for street photographers.
Tadeusz Rolke`s archive, which consists of several dozen thousand negatives and slides, has been published on-line by the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw.
