The artist employs a range of analogue image manipulation methods, constructs pinhole cameras and experiments with silver nitrate solutions. She graduated from the Fine Arts Department of the University of Siegen (Germany). Since 2000, she has acted as an independent art photographer. Krawiec teaches experimental and pinhole photography and art-printing techniques. Member of ZPAF and juror of the Polish Pinhole Photography Festival. Since 1993, she has shown her work at numerous exhibitions in Poland and abroad, including: FF Gallery, Łódź; Haus Seel, Siegen; Mała Galeria ZPAF-CCA and Stara Galeria ZPAF, Warsaw; Wozownia Art Gallery, Toruń. Selected group exhibitions: Festival of Polish Culture, Luxembourg; Photomonth, Cracow; International Photographic Festival, Łódź; Voies Off, Arles; Polish Pinhole Photography, Boston and New Bedford (USA); Museum of the History of Photography in Cracow. Works in public and private collections in Europe and the USA.

The Palace - my Love series was created in 2003-2004 as an expression of the artist`s fascination with the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw. It consists of multi-toned analogue pinhole photomontages, unique in colour terms and edited 1/1.
