In keeping with the Think Crazy concept, Konieczny returned to the idea of object in art. When engaging in his conceptual actions, he would use absurd and kitschy objects, the so-called Special Equipment, including pyramids, gold, frames, fur coats, animal figures, or a sickle - as here. They became an integral part of his sophisticated pictures and "still lifes" - the installations accompanying his performances. Some of his photographs, as this one, were a record of the body art he practiced as part of his endeavours.
Exhibitions: Think Crazy, Zachęta National Gallery of Art, Warsaw (2013).
