Janusz Bulhak had two great passions: music and photography. The interest in photography was inherited from his father, Jan Bulhak, who was called the father of the Polish photography. For many years, Janusz worked with his father in Jan Bulhak's laboratory. They also photographed together. It was only natural, then, that Janusz Bulhak created works in the pictorial style. He graduated from the Vilnius Conservatory. He co-founded the Association of Polish Art Photographers (1947) and had membership card number two. We can find his works in many collections, for example those of the National Museum in Warsaw and the Museum of History of Photography in Cracow.
