Morning Exercises consists of two photographs (a negative and a positive one) made in a period when Pierściński was committed to nude photography. He documented various physical exercises and showed them in a highly graphic-like form allowing the viewer to decipher and analyse the bodily gestures.
The works have been widely exhibited and reproduced.
The main exhibitions include: Venus 1972, 3rd International Salon of Female Portrait and Nude Photography (1972) and retrospective exhibitions of Pierściński`s work: Galeria BWA Kielce (1981, 1995); Museum of the History of Photography in Cracow (2005); Nude in Polish Photography, National Museum, Gdańsk (2013).
The works were reproduced in the book Nude in Polish Photography (NEW Fine Grain, 2013), among other publications.
