This portrait of Rafał Mohr (1975), a Polish film and theatre actor, was exhibited in 2002 on a large-format banner on the facade of the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw as part of the exhibition Blow-up. Photography in the Times of Turmoil. It is probably the best known of the artist’s works. Georgiew took it using Magnolia, a Czech 13x18 cm large-format camera.
The work has been widely exhibited in Poland and abroad. It premiered during the Black and White Photography Festival, Zakopane-Warsaw (2002), organised by the LATARNIK art group.
