This work is inspired by the famed L.H.O.O.Q by Marcel Duchamp, which is a reproduction of the iconic Mona Lisa painting by Leonardo da Vinci, onto which the artist drew a moustache and beard. One of the interpretations at the time was that Duchamp was alluding to the alleged homosexuality of Leonardo. By using a unique technique and making a reference to the art of the famous French master, Kuskowski gives his work voyeuristic overtones. The letters pronounced in French sound like "Elle a chaud au cul" or "she is hot in the arse."
