The best known of Omulecki`s photographs. The print comes from his exhibition during the Transphotographiques festival in Lille, France (2009). The picture was taken after the annual re-enactment of the Battle of Grunwald in 2005. The artist addresses such issues as Poland`s present-day entanglement in history and the Poles` dreams of their country being a superpower as demonstrated by the recreation of momentous historical events dating centuries back.
