Kaleidoscopic Image, which dates back to 1970, is one of the first conceptual and analytical photographic images created in Poland. It was made by means of manual manipulation of a spherical prism lens in an interactive black box. The black box is featured in the collection of the National Museum in Wrocław. It was shown in 1971 with other interactive works by Robakowski at the important exhibition entitled Photographers-Explorers organised by ZPAF in the Gallery of Contemporary Art in Warsaw.
