The photograph comes from a series of works made for DeBeers Diamonds which presents the best jewellery designs in an international jewellery competition. The model in the photograph is Jaclyn Smith, known for her role in the famous TV show Charlie`s Angels.
The portfolio of works won The One Show Gold Award (1973), granted by the Art Directors Club of New York and considered to be the photographic Oscar.
