Interferences #2

2010/2012
pigment print, Ilford Galerie Gold Fibre Silk 310 g, dibond, 80 x 53 cm,
label with signature, date and description on the reverse,
edition: 1/6 + 2 a.p.

The photograph comes from the Interferences series, in which the artist uses old toys and objects, transforming them in varying degrees. As a result of these manipulations, the objects reveal the unique capacity of changing from one form into another, acquiring new meanings. The captured forms are, at the same time, three-dimensional objects in their own right.
The project was exhibited at: Sulla fotografia, Galleria Spazio LABA, Brescia, Italy (2011); The Identity of Photography, Kobro Gallery, ASP, Łódź (2011); Wunderkammer, artLOKAL, Opole (2011).
