He belongs to the group of the most outstanding representatives of concrete poetry. A graduate of Polish philology at the University of Wroclaw, where he studied during the years 1959-64. In 1964, he made his debut as a poet with traditional poems in ‘Ark. Information Bulleting of the Artistic Youth Club at ZSP’, and in 1967, he began writing his first concrete texts. His works have been presented at exhibitions in Poland and abroad since 1968. In 1979, he wrote and published his book titled ‘Concrete poetry’. A selection of Polish texts and documentation from the years 1967-77.
