This photograph was taken in Warsaw on Piękna Street, in the vicinity of Mokotowska Street, at the time when Mroczek was studying at the Aviation Faculty of the Warsaw Polytechnic. Being an ardent amateur photographer, Mroczek never left home without his camera. As he recollects, the way from his student hostel to the Faculty in Nowowiejska, which he walked on foot, was rich in photographic motifs - children playing in the street. Mroczek had his photographs, mostly of children, shown at exhibitions accompanying the then numerous amateur photography contests. His works were also reproduced as illustrations for the series of articles All Children Are Ours, which was published in the Słowo Powszechne daily.
