Both the repeated, hand-coloured female portraits, and the text are a clear reference to the pop-artist Andy Warhol. Rytka made it for the purpose of using it in Tango - the art journal issued irregularly in the years 1983-1986 and a physical symbol of the Kultura Zrzuty group, of which Rytka was a member. In the 1980s, the artist expanded his activities, going beyond photography and taking up video and other media. He dedicated himself to such topics as the potential of art and the modalities of the perception of art among viewers. His work started to incline towards the kind of media studies pursued by the artists of the Film Form Studio in Łódź.
