Hermanowicz was a faithful follower of what is referred to as Homeland Photography, which was supposed to embody Polish national values and depict Poland’s beauty. He had a great sense of the charm and atmosphere of places. On the one hand, he fulfilled himself as a reporter, but on the other, was a patient landscape photographer, who could wait for the right lighting conditions for a long time.
