In 1984, Rubinstein documented Łódź. Years later she selected a set from the many photographs she had taken at that time, and these images formed her book Łódź - Momentary Meetings, which was dedicated to the city. The Grand Hotel, where this photograph was taken, is located at Piotrkowska 72 Street. It has been continuously active for 122 years, being synonymous with prestige and elegance from the very start. For decades, the hotel used to be an indisputable leader in the city, being an integral part of its history.
Rubinstein made the prints by hand in New York.
