As Andrey Kudryashov commented on the Sedimentation exhibition in the Moscow Reflex Gallery (2005), "the photographs seem to rhyme with the image - an empty room with a photo wallpaper showing beach and palms. (…) What is visible and real, far and near almost gets one in the photographs." Kudryashov goes on to comment on the title of the exhibition: "(…) sedimentation is a geological term meaning the accumulation of sedimentary rocks. But here, it also implies the scale of the time shift, fully geological in nature - not by years, but epochs. It is an attempt to look back into the past with the kind of unemotional interest of an archaeologist."
