The photograph comes from a series of several dozen works made by the artist in the flea market at Grzegórzecka Street in Cracow. As Dariusz Czaja comments on the works, "they are not merely documentary photos, but carefully composed, arranged pictures," adding that "reality itself is the leading ‘composer’ here, with the photographer merely helping reality reveal its concealed meanings." Rather than being a collection of photographed objects, the things in the title of the series are a rich narrative about man.
