The Photo-Videomasochism is a set of stills from the film My Videomasochism (1989), which shows a performance by Robakowski where he is manipulating various tools near his face in front of a camera. As he himself declares, "I dedicate My Videomasochisms to the "butcher-performers" who mutilate their bodies for ARTS. I am against such rituals, which is why I ridicule them with utmost resolve. As I see it, art does not have to hurt, nor does it have to shock by showing mutilated human body."
