Women have a special place in Zorka Project photography. The duo of artists have often portrayed professional groups, for example women tram drivers, but frequently their topics are just a pretext for showing various types of womanhood. The Misses series was created in the summer of 2006, at the invitation of the Małopolska Institute of Culture and the Imago Mundi Foundation. It shows girls taking part in local beauty contests, together with their parents and siblings, in their family homes.
